NHL Premiere and NHL Global Series

NHL Premiere Series and NHL Global Series in Europe and Japan

Sporadically from 1997 to 2011, the NHL opened the season with games in Japan and Europe. Games were also played in Europe in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022.
